I am glad I took my new Van to University Chevron to have winter tires taken off and summer put on. You get the feeling you are getting personalized service and the work will be done correctly. Thanks for providing that "local business" feeling.

I am the worst customer. I am one of those customers that is a little annoying when it comes to auto work getting done. I no lie will look for something wrong. Not to be annoying just because i was a good mechanic. Due to injury and sometimes lack of want to i have to trust that the guy working on my car knows as much as me. If not be smart enough to figure it out like i would. That being said: These guys are awesome. They were easy to work with. Lots faster than i had thought. The mechanic did a great job. On top of it they put a unheard of 3 year 36,000 mile waranty on there work. You really cant get that kind of service to many places these day. For sure Recommend for any service work.

Your front counter person, Billy, was very helpful, respectful, and friendly. I brought my old 1995 Chev S10 blazer in for a coolant system pressure check as I had been leaking antifreeze. I also asked that the front brakes be checked, as your Chevron station had replaced the front brakes in 2016, and the car was veering to the left whenever brakes applied. Billy gave me a printout of all the things wrong with the car that would cost approx. $4,300 to fix. Billy said he would also email me a copy of the printout, which I haven't received yet. He also gave me the card of a retired mechanic that saw my car and wanted to buy it. About 60 miles later, at home, my husband looked at the car, both the engine, and underneath, and found that your mechanic had left the radiator cap on top of battery, the hose between radiator and overflow well was missing the hose clamp, and the access plate underneath the car was left open and hanging by its hinges. Many people have recommended University Chevron to me in the past, but I'm sorry, you seemed to have changed mechanics, and I have lost trust in University Chevron to do vehicle diagnosis and repair.

After discussion with our technician, I have contacted the customer to refund their money and apologize. We dropped to ball on this service. More training and programs are being implemented and discussed to keep this from ever happening again. Troy Thomas

I adore these guys. Not only do they take care of my vehicle, they treat me as if I am their auntie. They adhere to a standard of old-fashioned service and courtesy . Twice now I’ve come by with problems that seemed a logistical nightmare to me. Twice they identified small issues that were quickly resolved. I’m very pleased with them. It’s nice to be part of their neighborhood. Most recently the “snow hat” that accumulates on the roof of my car abruptly slid forward onto my windshield while the wipers were active. This little drama left the driver’s side wiper still attached but inoperative. This happened during a heavy snowfall and made driving very hazardous. I called my car’s dealership thinking that they would most likely have any necessary spare part. After two long holds and three people, I spoke to a distracted man who told me that they would have to order any parts, but if I got over there they might be able to take a look. He said their mechanics go home at 4:30 and were very busy. I mentioned that it didn’t seem safe to drive under the circumstances, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to if they had no parts and could not commit to having a look. So- I decided to take it to University Chevron, where I had no expectation of parts of hand, but where they have treated me well in the past. Jackpot! A charming young man was immediately called out of the back and sent outside with me. He excavated the wiper arm out of the packed snow and popped some mechanical part out. He told me not to worry and took his prize back inside. I’m not clear on what he did, but he re-emerged, fiddled with it, and voila! The wiper was solid and functional again! I’m so impressed! I thought it was going to be a huge expensive problem, but no! In the past I’ve had occasion to sit quietly in their customer waiting area. While there, I can clearly observe how they speak to and about other customers. It’s very reassuring. It’s clear that this business has a positive employee culture and is trying to actively cultivate customer loyalty and good will. They sure have earned our respect and loyalty.

Mike's University Chevron has great customer service. They thoroughly review my bill with me after completion and let me know what they found wrong, if anything, if they haven't already fixed it by calling first to authorize the repair. Keep up the good work!

They were dishonest about their rates and actual time worked. Incredibly overpriced for not completely clearing up the issue. Wayyy overcharged for a simple job. I do not recommend this place at all.

We work very hard to be fair and honest with all our customers. Our policy is to report all services needed and prices to the customer before performing any repairs. Obviously we failed somewhere on this service. I would like very much to discuss it with you. Please contact me direct. Troy Thomas

I brought my vehicle in due to issues with the power steering. Paid 2500 which included a new power steering hose. Upon my vehicles return I continued to experience problems. Brought the vehicle back and the workers informed me the other hose now needed to be repaired. It would have saved me a lot of time and money if they would have done an efficient check the first time through as I eventually ended up paying 3000 total, more than a 4th of my vehicles value. I will not return to the University Chevron.

In a lot of cases, unfortunately some problems (leaks) mask others. We make every attempt to find and recommend all services needed for each vehicle. Our 36 month or 36,000 mile warranty and free re-inspections are used to help if something is missed. I am unhappy that we did not perform to your satisfaction. Please call me direct and let me know what I can do to make this better. Troy Thomas
