I had an unexpected car problem and needed an electrics diagnostic; they were able to make room for me even though they had a full schedule that Friday. Monday the problem was fixed. I'm pretty sure they even wiped down my interior vinyl with armor-all or something... if they didn't, maybe I was just THAT glad to see my Subaru again :)

Thank you so much for the professional, timely response fixing my husband's truck. The military discount was much appreciated!

The guys at University Chevron are wonderful to work with. I took my Jeep Wrangler there when I had problems and my Subaru Crosstrek. The prices are fair, the work is quick and well done. I will keep going back and suggest to anyone to go here over a dealership.

Ladies, If you need work done on your vehicle, take it here. After going to 4-6 different shops, spending abscene amounts of money, losing work time as well as spending money on a rental, I found out about University Chevron. These guys will take the time to explain any problem your vehicle may have, they will NOT talk down to you, it doesn't matter if you know machanics or not. If you don't have a lot of money, they will let you know what needs done first, than what can wait, as well as a good price for everything. These other shops I referred to ended up leaving my truck NOT running at all. By the time University got done with my truck, it has been running better than if brand new. The best thing I really appreciate is not being treated like I'm dumb because I'm a woman. Nor being ripped off on costs associated with repairs. Having turned a wrench or two in my time, it is nice to know a shop that stills believes in being honest, fair priced, and will treat people with common courtesy. These guys would rather help people than to leave them stranded in -40 below weather, like what had been done to me. Thank you for reading this and I will not go to anyone else. Kathy O'Rourke

I got my 2010 Hyundai Accent GS serviced here for snow tires and winterization. I PCS'ed up from Florida to Fort Wainwright so I really was new to all of this artic driving. I came here based on the positive reviews I saw online. For winterization and 4 new studded tires, I paid $850. The guys in the shop were friendly and helpful and not pushy. After getting my tires changed out and arriving home, the TMPS light came on. I took the car back, and they discovered a faulty sensor which they replaced for free since they were the last one's working on it. Unfortunately, their nitrogen machine went down, and I had to bring the car back a couple days later to get that done in the new tires. All in all, I felt like I was getting an honest experience and that I wasn't being duped by mechanics that knew more than me which I feel is usually the case on the military base Firestone shops. Good experience. Will bring my car back here in the future.
